What you'll provide

Setting up the space

Please have the room set up ready for our arrival.

  • Space: A school hall is best for robotics workshops. A large classroom can also work. All sessions take place indoors.
  • Tables and chairs: The room set up ready for our arrival, with a double-space table or two connected exam tables for each team.
  • Screen or projector: A screen or projector for modelling. We can provide our own if requested in advance.

What we'll bring

We handle the rest

Our instructor arrives with everything needed to deliver the session.

  • All LEGO Spike Prime and EV3 robotics kits
  • Coding challenge mats
  • All printed pupil resources
  • The written risk assessment for the workshop
  • A screen or projector if you cannot provide one

How other schools have set up

Real setups from previous deliveries. Yours does not need to match exactly.

School hall set up for an Intermediate STEMbotics workshop with exam tables paired for each team in a U-shape and challenge mats in the centre
A school hall with exam tables paired for each team. A U-shape leaves space for us to present from the front and room for the challenge mats in the middle. The mats shown are 1.5m x 3.5m each.
School hall set up with mobile dining tables in a U-shape and space in the centre for coding challenge mats
The same workshop using mobile dining tables, again in a U-shape with space in the centre for our coding challenge mats. Typically three teams fit on one mobile dining table.
