What equipment is needed for digital skills & computing workshops?

No equipment is needed from the school. Our instructors bring all robotics kits, laptops, drones, 3D printers, and supporting materials. Schools just need to provide a suitable space with power sockets and parking access for our equipment van.

Are your workshop instructors DBS checked?

Yes. All Hyett Education instructors hold enhanced DBS checks and carry their certificates. DBS details are available on request before the workshop. Full risk assessments are provided for every activity.

Our digital skills workshops go beyond traditional coding to explore the breadth of modern computing. Students investigate artificial intelligence and machine learning through hands-on experiments, learn cryptography and cybersecurity principles through code-breaking challenges, and create their own stop-motion animated films. AI Workshop for Schools (KS2-KS4): Train Robots with Machine Learning

Bring real artificial intelligence into your classroom. In a single day, KS2 to KS4 students (ages 7 to 16) train their own image-recognition models, control LEGO robots that respond to what they see, and discuss AI ethics in age-appropriate language.
