In-school delivery avoids off-site transport and its travel risk assessment. Hyett Education supplies the activity risk assessment, while the school retains its normal on-site duties and decides how its usual consent and family-information procedures apply. The documents currently published on this page can be downloaded below. For a booking-specific document request, tell us the workshop, format and venue so we can confirm which document applies.

Activity risk-assessment scope

What the documents may cover

1Equipment and materials

The document identifies hazards and control measures for the equipment and materials specified for that workshop activity. The scope varies by workshop and format.

2Activity and movement

Depending on the activity, the document may cover construction, drone-flight or robot-driving zones and pupil movement. The school retains responsibility for pupil supervision and safeguarding.

3Room layout and setup

Workshop guidance identifies the expected room layout, access, power and activity zones. The school remains responsible for assessing its venue and providing the agreed setup.

4Emergency procedures

The host school or venue retains its first-aid, fire, incident-reporting and other on-site procedures. Relevant site information should be shared before delivery and on arrival.

Our process

How activity risk assessments are used

1Match the activity

The applicable document depends on the workshop activity and delivery format. Tell us what you are booking so we can identify the relevant document.

2Share venue details

The school shares relevant information about the room, access, timetable and participant needs. The school retains responsibility for its venue and normal on-site procedures.

3Request the document

Download a listed PDF or ask our team for the document associated with the proposed booking. We will confirm availability and how it will be supplied.

4Confirm on-site arrangements

Before the session, the school and instructor confirm the agreed setup and any relevant site information. The school remains responsible for supervision, safeguarding and emergency procedures.
