Founded in 2017 by former primary teacher Antony Hyett. On a mission to bring premium STEM experiences to every school in the UK.
Our Story
Hyett Education was founded in 2017 by Antony Hyett, a former primary school teacher who saw first-hand the gap between what schools needed and what was available in STEM education. Too many workshops were delivered by people who had never taught in a classroom, with equipment that arrived broken and activities that had no curriculum link.
Antony set out to build a STEM education company centred on practical learning. Phillipa Hyett, a senior leader and deputy headteacher, supported the foundation of the company, drawing on her school leadership experience. Today, each workshop page identifies the curriculum connections applicable to its product, cohort, format and school jurisdiction. Every instructor holds an enhanced DBS certificate and is registered on the DBS Update Service, and the specialist equipment is maintained for delivery.
Hyett Education is a UK STEM workshop specialist for schools and organisations. Our educator-led team plans and delivers practical sessions in robotics, drones, artificial intelligence, 3D design, cybersecurity, electricity and animation, with specialist equipment and clear information for host schools.
Our workshops are delivered across the UK. We are also an RAF STEM Education Partner, and were a Defence Nuclear STEM Education Partner from 2023 to 2026. Explore our track record and defence credentials for the supporting detail.

Tech Tigers: part of Hyett Education
Tech Tigers is Hyett Education’s childcare and wraparound service. Children are looked after by trained Tech Tigers club staff, choosing from lots of different STEM activities set out as continuous provision.
Hyett Education provides curriculum-linked, teacher-led full-day STEM workshops across the UK, alongside computing professional development and consultancy for schools.
