Why Multi-Academy Trusts Choose Us
Managing STEM enrichment across multiple schools is a logistical challenge. Individual schools booking their own providers can create inconsistency, duplicate work and leave trust leaders without comparable delivery records. A centrally agreed programme can define the included schools, sessions and reporting scope in advance.
Hyett Education works directly with trust leadership, education directors and curriculum leads to plan the agreed programme. We coordinate the included bookings from a single point of contact and provide the post-delivery records specified in the proposal. Engagement or learning-outcome measures are included only where the method and data collection were agreed in advance.
Benefits for Your Trust
A trust-wide approach to STEM enrichment delivers far more value than schools booking independently. Here is what a Hyett Education partnership means for your MAT.
- Consistency across all schools: Every school in the trust receives the same high-quality workshops, delivered to the same standard by experienced instructors. No variation in quality between settings.
- Records at trust and school level: Where included in the proposal, post-delivery records cover schools, sessions, participant counts and curriculum links. Engagement or learning-outcome measures are included only where the method and data collection were agreed in advance. Trust and school leaders decide how those records fit their own evaluation; they do not guarantee an external evaluation.
- Curriculum enrichment for all key stages: With ten workshops spanning EYFS through to KS5, we cover the full age range. Whether your trust includes primary, secondary, or all-through schools, we have workshops that fit.
- Pupil premium impact: The trust decides whether a workshop is an appropriate use of pupil premium within its published strategy. We can provide accurate participation and curriculum records for the trust’s own evaluation; a workshop does not by itself demonstrate pupil premium impact.
- Staff CPD opportunities: Our instructors model best practice in STEM teaching, including adaptive teaching strategies, scaffolded activities, and hands-on pedagogy. School staff observing sessions gain practical ideas they can apply in their own teaching.
- Volume pricing: Booking across the trust means better value per school. We offer volume pricing for MATs that book multiple schools, making trust-wide enrichment more cost-effective than schools booking individually.
How It Works
Setting up a trust-wide STEM enrichment programme with Hyett Education is straightforward. We handle the coordination so your central team and individual schools can focus on what they do best.
- Initial conversation: Contact us to tell us about your trust, the number of schools, the age ranges you cover, and what you are looking to achieve. There is no obligation at this stage.
- Programme design: We work with your education director or curriculum lead to design a programme that fits your trust priorities. This might mean the same workshop in every school, a rotation of different workshops across the year, or a bespoke combination tailored to each school’s needs.
- Centralised scheduling: We coordinate dates directly with individual schools, but manage the whole process centrally. Your trust office receives a single schedule covering all bookings, making oversight simple.
- Delivery across the trust: The assigned instructor brings the specialist equipment, sets up, runs the sessions and packs down. Every Hyett Education instructor holds an enhanced DBS certificate and is registered on the DBS Update Service. We bring the specialist equipment. Schools provide a suitable indoor space, tables, chairs and power; the CAD workshop also needs reliable internet access. We confirm the exact setup before the visit.
- Trust-wide reporting: After delivery, we provide the records specified in the agreed proposal, covering the agreed schools, sessions, participant counts and curriculum links. Engagement or learning-outcome measures are included only where the method and data collection were agreed in advance.
The Case for Trust-Wide Investment
When individual schools book STEM enrichment separately, each school researches providers, compares quotes and manages logistics independently. Trust leadership may also receive delivery records in different formats. A trust-wide proposal can set one agreed scope for the included schools, sessions and records.
A trust-wide programme with Hyett Education provides one supplier and one point of contact for the included schools. Any volume pricing, invoicing arrangement and post-delivery records are set out in the proposal, so the trust can assess the agreed programme before confirming it.
Reporting for Trust Leadership
After each delivery round, trusts receive the post-delivery records specified in the agreed proposal. Those records can cover schools, sessions, participant counts and curriculum links. Engagement or learning-outcome measures are included only where the method and data collection were agreed in advance. Trust and school leaders decide how the records fit their wider evaluation; they do not guarantee or determine an inspection outcome.
For ongoing programmes, any termly or annual summary and any school-level records are included only where specified in the proposal. The reporting period, fields and measures are agreed in advance, together with the method and data collection required for any engagement or learning-outcome measure.
How to Set Up a MAT Partnership
Getting started is simple and we are flexible about the process.
- Get in touch: Contact us with details about your trust. We just need to know the number of schools, age ranges, and roughly what you are looking for.
- Receive a proposal: We will put together a tailored proposal and pricing for your trust, including workshop options, scheduling suggestions and the post-delivery records to be provided. Any engagement or learning-outcome measure will state the method and data collection agreed in advance.
- Agree the programme: Once you are happy with the proposal, we agree dates, confirm schools, and put the programme in place. We handle all coordination with individual schools from this point.
- We deliver: Our instructors visit each school with the specialist workshop equipment and deliver the agreed sessions. Each school provides the confirmed indoor space, tables, chairs and power; CAD workshops also require reliable internet access. We confirm the exact setup with each school before delivery.
- Review and plan ahead: After delivery, we share the records specified in the agreed proposal and discuss any next steps. A later termly or annual programme would be separately agreed.
