How EYFS workshops work
Delivered in your school
Workshops are delivered directly in your school, with the number and length of sessions agreed for the quoted format.
Your instructor arrives early
Your instructor arrives 75 to 90 minutes before the first session (minimum 60 minutes) with the specialist equipment for that format.
What your school provides
We bring the specialist equipment. Schools provide a suitable indoor space, tables, chairs and power; the CAD workshop also needs reliable internet access. We confirm the exact setup before the visit.
Enhanced DBS, continuously monitored
Every Hyett Education instructor holds an enhanced DBS certificate and is registered on the DBS Update Service. Your instructor's DBS details are shared in your secure booking portal once your booking is made.

STEM Learning in the Early Years
Our EYFS workshops use play-based learning to introduce young children to science, technology, engineering and maths concepts. Each workshop page identifies the curriculum or framework connections relevant to that product, cohort, delivery format and school jurisdiction.
EYFS STEM workshops can be used as an enrichment day for Reception classes or as part of a wider school programme. We provide the specialist workshop equipment, and every instructor holds an enhanced DBS certificate and is registered on the DBS Update Service.
