Our Y9 students spent 2 hours learning how to code drones using SWIFT coding. By the end of the session students were able to fly drones up, down, right, left, follow flight paths and some were even successful in getting the drones through hoops. Some groups worked together to create a procession. Students enjoyed the session immensely and could be heard discussing it later in the day. I would highly recommend drone coding with Hyett Education to give students wider opportunities of STEM. We have already booked in for next year.
A fantastic workshop on robotics for our year 6 pupils. Every student was engaged and excited! They got to build their own robot and then programmed it to follow a course. It was really hands-on and interactive. Antony, the instructor, was engaging and flexible. Genuinely one of the best workshops I've experienced! Thank you very much.
Our students had a wonderful day working on problem solving through a range of tasks. All students had great opportunities to talk and share ideas then use practical approaches to engineering and coding. The workshop suited both boys and girls of all ages. The sessions really made some students think about new or different career options.
The workshop was very engaging and pitched very well for my Year 4 class. The children were able to decipher codes and solve the challenge. They were so excited when they unlocked the safe! Instructors were very calm, explained clearly and had great behaviour management skills. I would highly recommend this workshop.
Our students engaged really well with this workshop, largely because it was so hands-on, especially the opportunity to fly the drones. The combination of coding and flying truly inspired our younger students and helped them realise that STEM is exciting and accessible. The workshop was very well run, and we would happily book again.
The students got so much out of the sessions, we have already done our coding unit of work but the workshop brought their learning to life in a more exciting way allowing them to make their robots move around. A cracking set of workshops on robotics. They gave our children access to experiences that are very difficult to provide otherwise. The session leader was knowledgeable and engaging. Fantastic!

The workshop was great and the children loved it. I cannot praise Jack highly enough, we have lots of external providers come in and his manner and delivery really stand out. Staff were very impressed! The children loved the opportunity to be creative.
The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the coding and there was a real wow moment when their fairground rides began to work! Richard, as always, delivered the workshop brilliantly, capturing all the children's attention and enabling them all to achieve success.
The workshops have been absolutely fantastic! Our pupils were completely engaged from start to finish. The 3D Design Workshop was pitched perfectly for their age group, clear, accessible, and yet challenging enough to keep everyone motivated.
We had a super day! Every single pupil spoke incredibly highly of the experience. The teachers were really impressed too and it was so nice to be able to offer opportunities with such equipment that we wouldn't usually be able to do in school. Jack was great with the children.
Jack has been leading workshops at Wren for several years, and the children are always excited to hear that "Jack is back!" His sessions are engaging and hands-on, and children from Reception to Year 6 consistently make excellent progress. We will definitely continue to book workshops for our STEM week.
The children had a fantastic time at your workshop. Peter was amazing. He was engaging, whilst still keeping their behaviour at a good level. Teachers said he had pitched it perfectly and he was super organised throughout the day. The children have all commented on how much they loved it and hope they will be seeing him again next year.

The drone-coding workshops were a huge success. The students really enjoyed them. The explanations and opportunities for the students to get involved are great and the balance is perfect. I liked the real-world applications which the students could relate to.

The Cryptography workshop was outstanding. It engaged all pupils, even one of our most challenging pupils, who doesn't usually last 20 minutes without a break, completed the whole session. Amazing session by an excellent teacher!
UTC Plymouth has enjoyed the workshop 3 years running and we always appreciate being given the opportunity to have the workshops fully funded. We think it is amazing what you do and we hope to be considered again next year!
Session was well delivered, well paced and enjoyable for all the ages involved, with plenty of discussion afterwards about the issues of AI. The resources were fantastic and although complicated, were explained clearly and inclusive for all abilities.
I was so impressed with the session. Children were hugely engaged and this was far beyond anything I could offer them. The children loved it. They were buzzing about it for days and we received lots of messages from parents about how much the children loved it.
