Inclusivity & SENDSupporting Every Learner
Our instructors have extensive experience working across different school environments, including mainstream, SEND, SEMH, alternative provision, pupil referral units, and special schools. Every activity is scaffolded and differentiated so that all learners can access the content, experience success, and develop confidence. We use adaptive teaching strategies, manage cognitive load carefully, and provide visual supports and learning mats. Schools can share specific needs in advance so we can plan accordingly. Beginner STEMbotics is designed to be one of our most inclusive workshops. Children code using icon blocks, picture-based instructions that require no reading ability, making the workshop fully accessible to pre-readers, children with literacy difficulties, and EAL learners. Word-based blocks are available for those ready to progress. The hands-on nature of LEGO robotics is particularly effective for kinaesthetic learners and children who thrive with practical, tactile activities.
Group sizes: Capacity varies by key stage: up to 32 pupils per session in KS1 or 60 in KS2. Across four sessions, that is up to 128 KS1 pupils or 240 KS2 pupils.
Gifted & TalentedStretch and Challenge for High-Ability Learners
Workshop data identifies extension activities where they are available. Schools can share the cohort profile in advance so the instructor can discuss suitable challenge, grouping and adjustments for the booked format.

Typical Workshop Day
Based on the Standard Experience format: 3 sessions of 90 minutes each. Exact times and breaks are agreed with the school.

Both Year 3 and 4 classes were fully engaged for the entire time of the workshop. They had so much fun. Anthony's behaviour management with the individual classes as well as a larger group of 68 was excellent. Instructions were given clearly and children knew what was expected from them. It was great how he stopped at times, called them back to the carpet and then explained the the next steps. He also supported groups that needed help. A really exciting experience - every single child got involved. I would definitely recommend it.
