CREST Awards Engage funding: can it pay for a STEM workshop?
Short answer
Possibly, with conditions
Closing soonCloses 20 October 2026 at 17:00 (12 days left)
The grant is for running CREST Awards and can be spent on materials, equipment, teacher CPD and more. The funder does not say whether an external workshop fee qualifies, so a workshop would need to be part of pupils’ CREST project work. Confirm with the British Science Association before applying.
The funder has updated this page since our last check. We are re-checking the details; confirm with the funder before applying. View the funder's page (crestawards.org)
How to use it for a workshop
Only consider this if the workshop forms part of pupils' CREST Award project work, and check with the British Science Association before applying.
